Stevens-Henager College is accredited by the Accrediting
Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology
(ACCSCT), 2101 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 302, Arlington, VA
22201. ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting
agency by the United States Department of Education under
the provisions of Public Law 82-550 and subsequent legislation
that requires the evaluation of such agencies and issuance
of an official list by the Department. Stevens-Henager College
is exempt from registration with the Utah State Board of
Regents, as allowed in Section 53B-5-105-5.2e of the Utah
Postsecondary Proprietary School Act, revised January 24,
2002.
The Medical Specialties program at the Ogden campus is
accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied
Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of
the American Association of Medical Assistants.
The Surgical Technology program at the Ogden campus is
accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied
Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of
the Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical
Technology (ARC-ST). ARC-ST is sponsored by the American
College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologists.
The Respiratory Therapy program at the Salt Lake City campus
is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied
Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of
the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
