Industry Licensing
The state of Washington currently requires that candidates for licensure have a minimum of 500 hours of training from a Washington approved school and pass the Washington State Board of Massage licensing exam. Because Washington State uses the National Certification Exam as its licensing exam, Brenneke graduates are also eligible for national certification through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. The licensing programs at Brenneke exceed these requirements for both the Washington State licensure and national certification.
